The Niche Market of Article Marketing

Article marketing is one of the cutting edge marketing techniques that was born on the internet since Google’s latest ranking approach changed in 2007. Previously, webmasters would struggle to jam-pack websites with content that was heavily-laden with "keywords" that would attract the Google spiders and cause their website to rise to the top. Well Google and other web search engines caught on.

In an effort to help produce an internet community that is valuable, and a useful experience for internet users, Google reduced the value of “keywords” and has now started looking for websites that fat additional criteria which indicate "value" that deserves a high ranking. These include:

  • Fresh content - whether new content has been recently added to the website, and how often content is added.
  • How long readers who click on the website stay on the website.

These two criteria identify valuable content. Corporations, businesses, and internet webmasters are recognizing that in order to stay high in Google's rankings, they will need to provide the internet public with fresh, valuable, and compelling content on their websites on a continuing basis.
